John Kaliski

As a fifteen year resident of Windsor Village, first as a renter for three years, and now a homeowner; as a former member of the Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) Advisory Board that shapes appropriate projects in our landmark neighborhood; as a former member of the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council Land Use Committee that looks out for our greater surrounding future; as a design contributor to the redesign of Harold Henry Park, a project sponsored by the Windsor Village Association and completed by the City's Department of Recreation and Parks; and as a person and member of a family that loves our community - its streets, trees, homes, gardens, monuments, and parks, I am pleased to express my interest in running for the Board of the Windsor Village Association. The WVA plays an important and critical role in bringing all together to maintain, care for, protect, and plan for our community, while helping ensure that 1) our needs are communicated to each other and the City, and 2) City services are well-delivered. I would be pleased to volunteer my time and experience to the Board and represent and be a voice for the many diverse people and interests that make this such a great place to live.
